Starts on the 22nd…and obviously Basden is in it too. Exciting!

Anyone know if this will be recorded with an audience? Nothing on the BBC tickets page about it yet.

MY PERFECT WEEKEND: TIM KEY
My ideal Friday night is spent playing scrabble in my local in Kentish Town with a goon called Lenny. After I’ve won a couple of games we move along through the pubs on Kentish Town Road. We usually end up in The Abbey where we’ll drink until closing and then banter with the Serbian bouncer.

Saturday morning I’ll get up early and try to run 10k on Hampstead Heath to remain uber-fit. In the afternoon I will primarily be in my bath, listening to Five Live. Then back to the pub for more scrabble or I’ll find some culture to enjoy in a theatre or cinema.

On Sunday, ideally, I’ll walk across the heath to Hampstead and root out a Sunday Roast, before returning to my flat and hunting down some Poirot or Columbo. If I’ve got any energy left, I’ll have another bath and phone my mum.

Herbal tea or a stiff drink?

Mint tea.

How would you describe yourself?
I suppose I’m a fairly unreliable comedian and man.
Your favourite item of clothing?
My blue jumper, with shoulder and elbow pads.
Your biggest accomplishment so far?
My first one-man show in 2004.
Do you get nervous?
As a rule, yes. But sometimes, alarmingly I don’t, which makes me nervous.
Who do you most admire?
Pretty much all other comedians because it’s quite a tricky old business. Gervais and Merchant know what they’re doing.
Who makes you laugh the most?
My friends do that quite well. Alex Horne’s a funny guy and I’m really into Adam Buxton at the moment.
What is your last supper?
Curry, possibly with a couple of sausages on the side.
What are your five favourite things?
Baths, cooking, football, long walks and Andre Agassi.

Top clothing choice, there. It’s the Royal Navy jumper you get from military surplus shops. I’m wearing one right now and it’s in my top ten items of clothing. Gotta love those elbow pads.

Mark’s wearing an Out Of Print shirt! I covet almost all of their shirts. (I say “almost all” because there’s an Atlas Shrugged shirt and Ayn Rand can fuck right off with her appalling politics.)
Nice zebra balloon, Tim.

It’s you. It’s me. It’s dancing.

I’ve seen Freeze! two or three times before, but never the dance. At the gig on Monday night they did the dance twice. Good times.
