Oh, what.
*puts on I Am Foreign hat* is that a Pop Tart on top of some fried eggs? why? what’s the brown stuff beside the Pop Tart on the left - and the brown meat-looking things under the toast (sausage burgers?)?
For my dear lovely Irish friend, that looks like a HOMEMADE Pop-Tart! The brown stuff is hash browns (shredded, fried potatoes) and those are indeed sausage patties under the toast.
I WANT THIS IN MY FACE RIGHT NOW.
I miss real breakfasts :( Maybe I will make this for myself soon.
I am intrigued by this homemade pop-tart business. I didn’t know people made those? I’ve never seen one before. I bet it’s delicious.
ah! I am educated. our fried breakfasts look somewhat different. also I’ve never seen anyone present pastry and fried eggs on the same plate. I am intrigued by homemade pop-tart though - I’ve only ever had packet ones and I didn’t like them.
a full Irish, clockwise from tomato: tomato, black pudding, white pudding, sausages (in sausage form, as opposed to burger/patty form), hash brown (still shredded and friend, but we tend to have them in shapes and with onion through the potato), bacon rasher, something odd that’s possibly bread?, mushrooms (ick), egg (with added green sprig so you can pretend this is healthy).
WHY WON’T YOU PEOPLE ACCEPT THAT YOU CAN’T HAVE A FRIED BREAKFAST WITHOUT BAKED BEANS

Someone get me that Neil Gaiman gif from Confidential please.
I don’t even like beans but breakfast definitely needs to involve as many fried goods as possible, especially fried potatoes.
Yes, beans. Also, the black and white puddings are less common here in Englandland. And there would probably several rounds of toast.
I’ve, never had a poptart? What am I missing?
I’m not an expert on fried breakfasts, being a vegetarian who has never liked grease in the morning, but it definitely needs baked beans and A TATTIE SCONE.
