TW for self-harm.

I usually don’t do this kind of thing, but this is getting to a point where it’s ridiculous and I could really use your help. 

Hey. My name is Dave, I’m an FTM transgender, and ever since I was about ten I’ve had problems with self-injury. The problem with it is that it just does not go away without support. Some things can help, like romance and stories and therapists, but it’s something that you really need people behind you, often a lot of people, to help you with it. 

And it’s gone to show that after several years of this, that I don’t have very many people to back me up. My mom had cancer a few years ago; she feels like I rejected her by “turning trans”. My dad is just confused. Hardly any of my friends know about this. 

So this is what I’m going to do, to see if it works. For every note this gets, I will go one (1) day without doing this to myself. I’m not doing it for the notes or the followers gained; I’m doing it for myself, and for my family, who I value above all. Thanks.
