Mmmmm, organs. Interesting article, though from an autistic perspective I find myself thinking, “Jeez, you neurotypicals are weird. Why on earth would you assume you know what someone else is thinking or feeling from their expression and behaviour? OH WAIT THAT’S A THING THAT HUMANS ARE GENERALLY CAPABLE OF TO SOME DEGREE.” I can be a bit forgetful when it comes to the differences between my experiences and common human experiences.
Of course I do make inferences about other people’s thoughts and feelings based on their expressions/behaviour/etcetera, but always with the awareness that my conclusions are probably wrong. Because they’re mostly guesses.
